Check Settings → Low Temp Nation → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed. You can also grant permission by fully quitting the app and launching it again — you'll be prompted on the next launch if you haven't already answered.
Can I add custom durations?
Not today. The app ships with four fixed presets: 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 1 minute, and 1 minute 30 seconds.
Can I use it on iPad?
The current version is iPhone-only, portrait orientation.
Does the timer keep running if I switch apps?
Yes — when you start a timer, a local notification is scheduled to fire at the end. You don't need to keep the app in the foreground.
Is the flash at the end safe for photosensitive users?
When Settings → Accessibility → Motion → Reduce Motion is enabled, the app swaps the flash for a gentler fade.
Does the app work with VoiceOver?
Yes. Each timer is labeled by its duration, the countdown updates are marked as frequently changing so they don't flood your speech output, and the completion moment is announced.
Does the app collect any data about me?
No. See our privacy policy — the app contains no analytics, no sign-in, no network calls.
